"My first try was when I was less
than two years old. I liked to paint with anything, pencils, food
and whatever I could reach...
When I was 14 I started taking lessons by mail at Modern School, a
California based mail academy. I was learning drawing. Those
times, I combined art with baseball. I loved to go out and play
street baseball with friends around the house.
Some years later I won a grant at an art
academy, "Nidia Serra Art Center".That was my first contact with a
personal teacher and students in a classroom. For two years I was
learning gouche and watercolor.
